Domains and verification (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
Verify your domain with SPF, DKIM and DMARC records to authenticate your emails and land in the inbox, not spam.
To send from you@yourcompany.com, you must prove you own yourcompany.com. This is done with DNS records that authenticate your emails — without them, providers like Gmail and Outlook reject or send to spam.
The three records
- SPF — authorizes Publiq servers to send on behalf of your domain (TXT record).
- DKIM — signs each email with a cryptographic key, proving it was not tampered with.
- DMARC — tells providers what to do with emails that fail authentication (policy).
In the dashboard, under Domains, add your domain — Publiq generates the exact DNS records for you to copy into your provider (Cloudflare, Route 53, etc.). Verification usually takes minutes.
Do not skip this step. Sending from an unverified domain is the #1 cause of emails in spam. See also Deliverability.
